Training
Our security officers undergo all the required training in New York and New Jersey. In addition, we provide our personnel with customer service training and all required firearms training necessary for licensing as an armed security officer.
8 Hours Annual
In-Service Course
This course must be completed each calendar year you hold a security guard registration. Your registration is issued for two years; therefore, you must complete two 8 Hour Annual In-Service training courses within your registration effective and expiration dates to be eligible for renewal.
Every officer working with FBY Security Services must undergo a mandatory, 8-hour in-service course, where the latest techniques, security tools, and best practices for security are discussed in detail, and each officer gets a refreshed understanding of their duties and responsibilities.
8 Hours Pre-Assignment Training
A general introductory course. All security guards are required to complete an 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course prior to applying to the Department of State along with the 16 hour On The Job Training Course in order to obtain a Security Guard License.

16 Hours On-The-Job Training
A course relevant to the duties of guards, requirements of the work site, and the needs of the employer. You must complete this training within 90 days of employment as a security guard.
Our on-the-job training is rigorous and comprehensive and designed to test the skills and abilities of all our personnel in a real-world environment. This ensures that all of our officers meet the highest possible quality standards.
